What if Letting Go Was Always the Answer?
Hi!
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ve let go of. And more importantly, what I’ve made space for in doing that.
It wasn’t just the narcissists & toxic people, expectations, old stories I told myself, or the pressure to people-please and be perfect. 🙃
I let go of the belief that I had to hold it all together.
I finally dropped that rope that was holding me back. (Btw…I do NOT recommend going to Home Depot and asking for rope, a shovel, duct tape, and a tarp! 😂 — just the rope is fine.)

And in this space I’ve created, it’s changed EVERYTHING. I have more peace, I’m living in alignment with my true, authentic self, and my overall wellbeing is improved…everything is CLEAR.
Don’t get me wrong, there was a time when I was scared to let go. I was hanging on to these old versions of me, because that’s what I thought OTHER people wanted me to be. I thought they would judge me or they’d see me as weak or shifty or not “enough.” (Who needs those people in their life?!)
What if real strength is knowing when to loosen your grip?
What’s something you’ve let go of, even if is scared you, that made space for something even better?
OR
What’s something you know you need to drop that you’re still hanging on to?
Hi reply. I’d love to hear your story. I read every single message!
🧠 For my science nerds, like me…
In my latest YouTube video (CLICK HERE), I talked about how holding on — especially in toxic environments and relationships — can keep you stuck in a cortisol storm. Letting go isn’t just mental or emotional; it’s also physiological. When we release what’s draining us, our nervous system can FINALLY regulate. Getting out of survival mode helps improve focus, energy, creativity and clarity.

🎙On a deeper side…
This week’s podcast episode is a reminder that if you, or someone you know, is going through the big stuff…you’re not alone. I talk about what happens when life throws you curveballs and how to come back to yourself through it all.

Sometimes, the most powerful move to get ahead isn’t fighting harder, it’s actually letting go.
